what types of accommodations can i request for my appointment?
building a truly accessible space is always a work in progress, so we encourage our guests to share their needs with us and we will do our absolute best to meet them. Here are a list of current disability and other accessibility needs we offer:
our styling chairs have removable armrests and can accommodate up to 800lbs.
we are able to move all styling chairs to provide services for wheelchair users.
we have a portable shampoo sink to wash those who are unable to leave their wheelchair for a wash
chat-free appointments are available by request, just communicate your needs with us when booking
fragrance-free or product-free appointments are available for those with sensory sensitivities
a private room may be booked if you prefer a more intimate setting, please check with your service provider when booking to confirm availability.
We provide ear plugs upon request to help with noise or water getting in your ear during shampooing.
if you are unable to speak, hear, or see please let us know the best way we can communicate with you.
our restroom is wheelchair accessible.
we offer a flexible cancelation policy for clients who have chronic mental and physical disabilities. Please contact your stylist directly upon booking so we can book you as our first or last appointment of the day. Contact info can be found on each stylists “meet me” page. If you do not reach out to confirm with them directly, a cancellation fee will be charge for any missed appointments.
our doorways have a minimum width of 32’ to accommodate mobility aids.
There is 1 disabled parking spot in back
Where should I park?
there is usually plenty of residential parking on Daisy and there are several 2 hour parking spaces directly out front of the salon. We do not recommend using 2 hour parking while getting chemical services. There is 1 disabled parking space behind the building, but please do not use the other spaces, they are for our neighbors.
What is the cancelation policy?
All appointments canceled with less than 48hr notice will be charged 50% of the service. as independent business owners we do not get paid if you miss your appointment, so canceling your appointment as soon as you are aware is greatly appreciated.
if you need a flexible cancellation policy due to chronic illness please reach out to arrange that with stylist directly so we can make you our first or last appointment. If you do not reach out directly for this arrangement our cancellation policy will be enforced.
if you arrive to your appointment more than 15 minutes late we may not be able to accommodate you, so please do your best to arrive on time and communicate directly with your stylist if you are running late or need to reschedule your appointment.
how should I arrive for my appointment?
We recommend arriving for your appointment with your hair relatively clean and styled how you normally wear it so we can work with your natural curl pattern. Please be sure your hair has been washed and fully detangled within the week of your appointment. If your hair has become matted please contact your stylist directly before arriving so we have the appropriate amount of time to accommodate you. For best results, clarify your hair roots to ends prior to your color service avoiding scratching or scrubbing the scalp.
What are the covid-19 policies?
You may request that staff and guests wear a mask during your appointment by filling out the accommodation form in your booking. Please bring a mask and be prepared to mask up if we are sharing the space with immunocompromised guests who require masking.
