I began braiding at the young age of 10 and I’ve continued to perfect my craft for the last 25 years. To me, braiding is more than just a hairstyle, it’s a cultural connection, creative expression, and a space for healing.
I pride myself in my gentle touch and my expertise in prioritizing the health and safety of the natural hair. I am experienced in braiding all hair types; from 1a to 4c.
My passion outside of the salon is working with kids as an educator and mental health advocate. Outside of the salon I am a coach and healer.

Braids are an integral part of disability haircare for melanated and Black identifying folks, so we’re very excited to have Tamera with us. We searched hard to find a high quality, professional braider who would not cause physical pain and had the experience and skillset to care for the health of your hair and scalp.
